Frequency Trees
Frequency trees in GCSE Maths are a way to represent the frequencies of categorical data in a systematic way. The tree diagram displays the frequency of each possible combination of categories, with the total frequency of each category displayed at the end of each branch. Frequency trees can be used to analyse relationships between two categorical variables and identify patterns in the data.
