Trigonometry
In GCSE Maths, trigonometry is a branch of mathematics that focuses on the relationships between the angles and sides of triangles. At GCSE level we learn of three ratios namely sine, cosine, and tangent, which help calculate angles and side lengths in right-angled triangles. Trigonometry is crucial for various applications, including geometry, physics, and engineering.

In this video we will take a look at an introduction to trigonometry in GCSE Maths. We will also introduce SOHCAHTOA and investigate why SOHCAHTOA is helpful in remembering the trigonometric ratios for sin,cos and tan.
