Gradient of a Line
In GCSE Maths, the gradient of a line measures its steepness or slope. It’s found by dividing the change in the vertical (y) values by the corresponding change in horizontal (x) values between two points on the line. Understanding gradients is fundamental for analysing linear relationships and graphing equations.
After watching the AJMaths revision videos on the Gradient of a Line I will be able to:
- Find the Gradient of a Line Using a Graphical Method
- Find the Gradient of a Line Using a Non-Graphical Method
- Answer Exam Style Questions on the Gradient of a Line for GCSE Maths
Finding the Gradient of a Line (Graph)
In this video we will take a look at how we can find the gradient of a straight line by using a graph/sketch of the straight line.
Finding the Gradient of a Line (No Graph)
In this video we will take a look at how we can find the gradient of a line without using a graph and by simply using 2 points on the line segment.
Exam Revision for the Gradient of a Line
In this video we will take a look at exam revision for the Gradient of a Line.
