Functions
In GCSE Maths, functions are mathematical relationships that assign each input (usually represented by ‘x’) to a single output (‘y’). They are often expressed as equations or graphs, and they play a key role in modelling real-world situations, solving equations, and understanding patterns in data. Students learn to work with functions as well as finding inverse and composite functions.
After watching the AJMaths revision videos on Functions I will be able to:
- Find Outputs for Given Functions
- Find Composite Functions
- Find Inverse Functions
- Answer Exam Style Questions on Functions for GCSE Maths
Introduction to Functions
In this video we will take a look at what functions represent and how we find the output of a function.
Composite Functions
In this video we will take a look at how we find the composition of two functions.
Inverse Functions
In this video we will take a look at how we find the reverse of a function better known as the inverse function.
Exam Revision for Functions
In this video we will take a look at exam revision for functions.
