Circles
In GCSE Maths, circles are fundamental geometric shapes with a fixed center and a consistent distance, known as the radius, from the center to any point on the circumference. Students learn to calculate the circumference and area of circles using formulas (C = 2πr and A = πr^2), understand the relationship between the radius and diameter, and apply these concepts to real-world problem-solving.
After watching the AJMaths revision videos on Circles I will be able to:
- Correctly Label the Different Parts of a Circle
- Calculate the Area and Circumference of a Circle
- Answer Exam Style Questions on Circles for GCSE Maths
