Roots of a Polynomial
Roots of polynomials in Core Pure refer to the values of x that satisfy equations ranging from simple quadratics to more complex cubic and quartic expressions, each offering up to as many roots as their degree. These roots may be real or complex, with higher-degree polynomials often producing conjugate pairs, and their behaviour revealing key structural features of the polynomial. Linear transformations of roots allow us to map solutions from one polynomial to another, giving powerful tools for manipulating equations by scaling or translating their roots.
