Transformations of Graphs
Transformations of graphs in GCSE Maths involve changing the position, size, or shape of a graph using rules such as translation, reflection and enlargement. Students are expected to apply these rules to functions such as linear, quadratic, and trigonometric functions, and describe the effects of transformations on the function’s equation, graph, and key properties. They are also expected to use these transformations to sketch and interpret graphs.
After watching the AJMaths revision videos on transformations of graphs I will be able to:
- Apply Translations to Graphs
- Apply Reflections to Graphs
- Combine Transformations to Graphs
- Answer Exam Style Questions on Transformations of Graphs for GCSE Maths
Introduction to Transformations of Graphs
In this video we will introduce the sine rule and learn how we can use the sine rule to find missing sides and angles for triangles.
Exam Revision for Transformations of Graphs
In this video we will take a look at answering exam style questions on transformations of graphs.
