Product Rule for Counting
In GCSE Maths, the Product Rule for Counting is used to find the total number of outcomes in a multi-step scenario. It states that if there are ‘n’ ways to perform one task and ‘m’ ways to perform another task, then there are ‘n x m’ ways to perform both tasks together. This rule is fundamental in combinatorics and helps students systematically count possibilities in various situations
